Before founding Grad Mentor, Alisdair worked in senior leadership roles at Commonwealth Bank and Colonial First State. He also worked with small to
medium financial planning businesses providing them with support and giving them the tools to develop and grow their business network. It was during this period that he identified the need for a program in the financial planning sector attracting new talent and making the industry exciting for students. He recognised the importance of providing clients with a greater depth of knowledge and deeper understanding in the financial services sector. Using his own career development as a benchmark, Alisdair identified the single most important asset in developing and delivering successful outcomes is intensive and planned talent management. Alisdair holds a MBA from UNSW.
